Washington County and its eight cities are preparing to unveil a brand identity the Institute of Government developed in collaboration with a broad-based local steering committee and the University of Georgia Archway Partnership.
The City of Thomson is already implementing downtown revitalization projects the community identified through a Renaissance Strategic Visioning and Planning process the Institute of Government coordinated in collaboration with the Archway Partnership.
Cities across Georgia gain technical assistance and design solutions from UGA landscape architecture students through the Downtown Renaissance Fellows program, coordinated by the Institute in partnership with the Georgia Municipal Association and the Georgia Cities Foundation.
