Bio:
Wes Clarke conducts economic impact studies and program evaluations to help governments with decision making and program improvement. He maintains the Tax and Expenditure Data Center that provides access to local government fiscal data. Dr. Clarke spent more than a dozen years in private sector financial management and nine years on the faculty at the University of North Texas, where he taught graduate-level budgeting, finance, and research methodology courses. While at North Texas, he developed exams for the state’s government finance officers association and administered the certification program. He is a past chairman of the Association for Budgeting and Financial Management, a section of the American Society for Public Administration.
