T. Clark Stancil

Bio:

Clark Stancil joined the Institute of Government’s Planning and Environmental Services unit in 2015. As a creative design specialist, Clark creates unique plans and designs for communities across the state, including downtown streetscapes, parks, infill developments and more. Through site-specific designs, written plans, public engagement and more, Clark helps support efforts of the Georgia Downtown Renaissance Partnership, a joint venture of the Institute of Government, the Georgia Municipal Association (GMA), the Georgia Cities Foundation and the College of Environment and Design (CED). Since 2015, Clark has coordinated the Georgia Downtown Renaissance Fellowship, an element of the partnership that pairs design students from CED with cities across Georgia to solve community issues through design. Prior to joining the Institute of Government full time, Clark served as a student Downtown Renaissance Fellow.
