Bio:
As a research professional with the Workforce Development and Economic Analysis Unit, Joe provides direct support for communities across the state participating in the PROPEL program. Joe helps to connect PROPEL cohort members with a variety of technical assistance and resources from the University of Georgia and state partners, while also assisting faculty engaged with PROPEL communities. Joe worked for 9 years in the community development field in the Appalachian region before returning to graduate school at the University of Georgia. His areas of expertise include asset-based community development, food systems development, and agricultural education.
